PMC to build disabled persons unit in Portsmouth
Following the successful completion at Ivy Close earlier in the year for Portsmouth City Council, PMC have been tasked to design and build a 5-bedroom disabled persons unit on the site of an unused patch of land that previously housed a number of garages off of Bredenbury Close, Portsmouth.
As with all of our projects, we carefully considered the needs of the residents. The scheme will involve the construction of a two-story detached house with a covered car port big enough to take a minibus along with all associated car parking and landscaping.
Planning submission is being made before the festive holiday 2018 and it is hoped that construction will be able to commence around March/April 2019. We have our sights on completing the project early in 2020.
The architects are Ken Scadden Associates and the Structural/Civil Engineers are Arch Associates.
PMC sponsor Christmas Day at Park Community School
Over the Christmas period PMC are proudly supporting Park Community School to bring dinner on Christmas Day to their students in need.
Park Community School is a local school in Havant who care for young children and families in need with a wide variety of curriculum programmes, events and learning essentials.
Their moto is ‘much more than just a school’ – and they certainly are.
We are pleased to sponsor their Munch Christmas, where the school will open on Christmas day to provide a freshly prepared meal for their students.
Finally, we would like to wish all our clients, business partners, subcontractors and staff a very happy festive break. From all of us at PMC Construction, we hope you get to spend some quality time with friends and family.
Our head office will be closed from 3pm on Friday 21st December through to Wednesday, 2nd January.
We look forward to working with you all in 2019!
