PMC Construction’s £9 million project, Goldsmith Avenue in Portsmouth, has been announced as a finalist for the South Coast Property Awards 2019.

The Hampshire build had been nominated in the Regeneration Project of the Year category, an award sponsored by national law firm Blake Morgan. Now in its 4th year, the South Coast Property Awards is the leading property event in the Solent region for both residential and commercial property sectors.

What is the Regeneration Project of the Year Award?

According to the awarding body themselves:

“The Regeneration Project of the Year award acknowledges the innovative use of brownfield sites.”

PMC is working with VIVID to develop a modern apartment building in the heart of the bustling city, a stone’s throw from Fratton train station and Portsmouth FC’s prestigious Fratton Park.

The award praises “strong architectural design and the developer’s approach to environmental issues.”

Judges of the award will seek to understand how the particular area has been revitalised for those who live and work there, and will consider the return on investment for the scheme’s investors.
