PMC Construction have just completed a development project for Hyde Housing Association.
The New Wave development, situated on Newtown Road in Hove, East Sussex, features 59 residential apartments and a row of 6 terraced family homes. At its highest point, the apartment building reaches 6 storeys and is a graceful addition to the Brighton & Hove skyline.
There are a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units within the development. Three of the 2-bedroomed units are fully wheelchair accessible.
This area of Hove is experiencing rapid regeneration. As part of the development, the project involved the demolition of the existing industrial buildings on-site.
New Wave includes a terrace of family homes.
40% of the residential apartments on the Newtown Road development will be reserved as affordable housing.
The project was completed for Hyde Housing Association, part of the Hyde Group. The Hyde Housing Association aims to build and maintain financially-accessible homes for the South East and London.
PMC Construction echoes these values – we believe in creating sustainable communities for people to live and work. We are proud of the work we have completed, and we are even more excited for the positive impact New Wave will bring to the local community.
The New Wave development is only a short distance from Hove Train Station and offers generous outdoor space for all its residents.
New Wave was completed on time in March 2019 and ready to move in.
