Thanks to PMC and Portsmouth Football Club, Christmas comes early for young Pompey supporters.

This festive season, Portsmouth players are visiting young supporters in hospitals along the south coast. The squad will make a trip to the children’s wards at QA Hospital in Cosham and Southampton General Hospital to deliver presents to those who will not be at home for Christmas this year.

PMC Construction, proud club partner and sponsor of the Fratton Park North Stand, have donated all the gifts to be given out to those young supporters.

Steve Cripps, director at PMC, said:

“We are pleased to support Portsmouth Football Club on their annual hospital visits.

While we all sit back and take Christmas for granted, it is very rewarding to be involved and contribute towards making some children smile during their time away from home.”

We hope the gifts PMC have donated provide a few extra smiles during the festive period.

“It’s a very rewarding event,” said Portsmouth commercial director, Anna Mitchell. “The players visit young Blues supporters in local hospitals every Christmas and it’s a very rewarding event to be a part of at this time of year.”
