Southsea based charity The LifeHouse is hugely grateful to PMC and its partners for recently stepping in to rebuild some of its facilities.  Work began in the first lockdown period with reduced staffing and difficult conditions, but PMC and their associates continued until the job was completed a few months later.

They now have an increased capacity diner, utility, toilets, larder and connecting corridors, making their whole site more user-friendly.  The LifeHouse is a lifeline for the homeless in Portsmouth, providing a drop-in for food, shelter, healthcare and facilities for people in real need.

The new facilities make the jobs of those providing the care so much easier, meaning more people can be reached – this is so important in the current climate as they have seen an increase of up to 250%.  Now more than 50 people can be seated for food, double the amount!

PMC are happy to be in a position to help such worthwhile local causes.  Small changes such as these, can mean a massive difference to all involved.  Thanks also go to AD Mechanical, MR Electrical, Finest Windows and S&N Carpentry for their contributions.
