We are building a selection of homes for sale and shared ownership on behalf of Hyde Housing Association.
The 2.69 hectare site previously comprised underutilised commercial buildings and a former metal works.
What is Ropetackle, Shoreham?
Ropetackle, the housing scheme in Shoreham, comprises of 120 homes with a mixture of 3 and 4 bed houses and 1 and 2 bed apartments set along the River Adur.
The scheme will provide new, high quality riverside homes for a thriving coastal community. Ropetackle will feature a new focal point café, transforming this section of Shoreham-by-Sea town centre.
The scheme will contribute to the council’s strategic objectives and programme of continued investment and improvements to complete the regeneration of the area.

What will the scheme include?
The redevelopment will boast 120 new residential units, including 60 new houses and 60 flats, a third of which will be considered affordable housing.
Alongside the riverfront cafe, a 70-bed hotel and a supermarket are also planned to be incorporated within the scheme. Additionally, there will be space for shops and offices, together with new public open spaces and an improvement to the riverside footpath.
When will the scheme be completed?
Demolition of the current site was completed in 2016 and PMC Construction began construction in early 2018. We are aiming for completion of the project in March 2021.
